Sponsors
All mist tree sponsors are in Jo'burg, South Africa. Deepest thanks and appreciation go to:
Main Sponsors
Bijanis a prestigious hair salon run by the inimitable Larry Le Roux. Larry is a major supporter of many terrific music artists and outstanding South Africans such as Ryk Neethling. Bijan has many talented stylists, all of whom have an eye for colour and style - as you can see from the pictures on this website! If you want to look the best you can be, Bijan is well worth a visit. Contact them on 011 783 9811.
Helmke Friedland of Flashweb is a pro web designer for small & medium businesses. He created the pages and functions for the long awaited music video and didn't charge a cent. Not only did he part with time and skill but, because Flashweb also offers hosting (at affordable rates), has sponsored the hosting of the different web versions of the music video for a monthly transfer of up to 5 gigs! This means that many people can download the music video every month. How can you say thank you enough to a magnificent sponsorship like this? I wish I knew.
African Disc Distributors (was DiscMakers) sponsored 100 mini-discs to hand out as business cards! They handled the pressing and printing of that album as well as the printing of CD case inserts. Contact Gary Wall for a truly great product on 076 312 7201 or visit their premises cnr 12th and Kudu st. Rivonia
Intersoft , suppliers of computer and trade books in Southern Africa, sponsors the back-end set up that allows music-lovers to buy that album over the internet. They are also currently involved in partnering with Microsoft, setting up IT Academies. You can call them on 011 325 2643.
Making a music video is a team effort. It is simply a fact that without the overwhelming support of the sponsors below, the music video would still be nothing but a good idea. Thank you one and all for your greatness of heart and your generosity. In alphabetical order:
Bijan, Hair stylists extraordinaire, whose unbelievably talented stylist Arion not only treated, cut and coloured mist tree's hair but was on location both days doing all hair and make-up. He's the reason that Sello Masenya and mist tree look so gorgeous. Bijan can, literally, do the same for you. Check them out live in Sandton City in their newly reburbished salon or phone them on 011 783 9811.

Dirk Mostert Camera Productions (DMCP) lent us all sorts of filming equipment and without whom not a single shot could have been taken. For years of experience, fabulous camera work, editing and equipment, contact Dirk on 011 678 1222.
Ikhia House of Costumes is owned by Ruy Philippe, South Africa's most expert costume designer, took time off his hectic BBC schedule to not only advise on clothes, accessories and clothing/camera fundamentals but also to join wardrobe expeditions where, wanting things to be perfect, he bought a suit for Sello (ostensibly to add to his enormous collection). Since people were threatening to pull out days before the shoot because wardrobe was not ready, Ruy's actions averted a canning of the project 48 hours before the first take. For anything to do with costumes, give him a call on 082 458 9918.
Illovo Dry Cleaners, specialist cleaners who also do terrific alterations - they beautifully hemmed and steamed the dress for the first day's shooting, at fifteen minute's notice, literally hours before the first shot. Just in case you're wondering - we didn't have wardrobe until the day before shooting! They can be contacted on 011 268 1063 or mail them by clicking here:
Intersoft , for the van. People who were going to support us with special transport for the equipment ended up not doing so - 16h00 before the 03h00 call. Until Intersoft stepped in, this was rather a stressful moment.
Talisman , plant and tool hire specialists, who, G-d bless them, sponsored us a huge generator. Both days of filming were in areas where electricity was unavailable. And the camera batteries ran out. And we had a gorgeous, reliable, generator. Talisman's sponsorship averted potentially fatal moments and saved both days. Contact them on 011 462 9003 or 082 905 9003.
Zip Clothing saved the second day's shooting two hours before it began. The first locations were full of soot, dust and hairspray, rendering current wardrobe unwearable. Despite a valiant effort on the part of mist tree's sister to wash the dress, it was deemed not right. Arion met with Yvonne from Zip Clothing late on Saturday night with the dilemma and arrived with new, sparkling wardrobe four hours later. The availability of wardrobe for Sunday was entirely due to Yvonne. Call her to see her stunning collection of imported clothing on 083 397 3469 or mail her here:
Dirk Mostert Camera Productions (DMCP) once again came to the rescue, providing much needed editing facilities and software. You'll soon see for yourself that the editing is awesome! Thanks so much Dirk...call him on 011 678 1222 and visit his website to see what magic DMCP can work for you!
Spitfire Productions Making a music video is more than making it, editing it and creating beta-cams for the various TV stations. You need to create a DVD as well. And this means creating a DVD menu, which is much more difficult than it sounds. Not only was Spitfire Productions generous with their advice in all the post production stages, they even had us over (their funky premises have the most wonderful, fully equipped studios) and offered their time and resources to help sort out the final details. Call them on 083 286 1116 or e-mail them here

Bijan, Hair stylists extraordinaire, continue to support mist tree with full sponsorship. This time they surpassed themselves. Not only did Quintin, a really cool and skilled stylist, ready mist tree's hair for the launch but the owner of Bijan, Larry, then went and sponsored three hair treatments as prizes and 40 goodie bags for VIPs! They are so kind and generous - thanks guys...mist tree's great hair night is entirely due to the wonders of the Bijan stylists. And you could be transformed too, go have a wonderful hair experience in Sandton City; contact them on 011 783 9811.
